Safety & Minors at EGNA
Who can join
You must be 13 or older to create an EGNA account. Players aged 13 to 17 need a parent or legal guardian's electronic consent before they can enter paid tournaments or receive prizes.
Parental consent
When a player under 18 signs up, we email the parent or guardian they name. The guardian reviews our Terms and Privacy Policy and signs electronically. We keep a record of each consent, and a guardian can withdraw consent at any time with the withdrawal link we give them after they sign, or by contacting us.
Prizes for minors
Prizes won by players under 18 are held until we have their parent or guardian's current consent, and are paid only in a way that meets our Terms and the law. We never ask minors for bank details.
What we collect from minors
We collect a birth date, display name, Riot ID, email, and match results. We don't sell minors' data or use it for targeted ads. We share it only with the services needed to run tournaments (Riot Games, Stripe, Google Firebase), and we delete it when it's no longer needed. Parents can review or delete their child's data at any time by emailing privacy@egna.pro.
Messaging
EGNA does not currently offer private or direct messaging between players. If we add messaging or team chat later, it will be off by default for players under 18 and will only turn on with their parent or guardian's consent. We'll update this page before any such feature launches.
Profiles and player search
We never show a player's age or birth date publicly. For players under 18, and for players who haven't confirmed their age yet, public player pages don't show a bio or Discord username and ask search engines not to index the page. Players under 18 don't appear in player search for other players.
Reporting
To report a player, team, or match, email safety@egna.pro. Our team reviews reports quickly. We report suspected child sexual exploitation to NCMEC's CyberTipline and cooperate with law enforcement. If a child is in immediate danger, call 911.
